Headbands, Bracelets, and changing lives!
UYB is co-launching a crowdfunding campaign with the non-profit organization, Into The Nations. For the last three summers Into The Nations and UYB's founder have been volunteering in an El Salvadoran community that has been afflicted with extreme poverty and violence. After three summers of community development and building projects ITN and UYB are partnering to take impact to the next level! We are settling in for the long haul, developing supply chains, creating products, and employing community members!! Support our campaign Spring 2018! More details to come!
At a young age my mom exposed me to a side of the world that I wasn't aware of, I cannot thank her enough. She always told me that I have to run my own race, and that life doesn't have to be normal.. At sixteen I decided that I wanted to use my life in a way that allows others to have access to opportunities that they otherwise would not.
My background and volunteer work has been with non-profits operating in underdeveloped communities in El Salvador. These experiences allowed me to see, first hand, the destitute poverty and the psychological phenomena that occur in families and individuals living in these environments. Whether it's working with families that need a new start, building a home for a mother and her son who was conceived by rape, spending time with inmates in gang prisons, or simply getting to know the people, their culture, and their daily struggles, these are the things that continue to shape who I am and how I see business.
These humbling experiences drive my motivation for creating a business that stands for social change and environmental protection. My hope is that this project will add to the cultivation of future markets for sustainable goods and services.
UNDERSTAND YOUR BRAND and stand with our team to help redefine the way our world buys and produces clothing!
